IntroductionThe last time I had a brand new digital camera was nearly five years ago, and it quit working nearly two years ago. I'd been looking for a new camera for quite some time, but ended up making a rather spontaneous decision to purchase this one from Wal Mart.
I didn't need the camera for anything fancy, just something to take family photos with for the holidays. I'm a novice photographer but love photos, so I was looking for something that could provide me with good quality photos without breaking my budget. I was looking for something under $100 and tried to take advantage of the fact that many cameras would be on sale for Christmas. Once I learn more about the art of photography, I'll be willing to spring for something more expensive, with more frills.
PerformanceRatingOverall, the pictures I have taken with the camera are fantastic. I haven't experienced a single issue with the camera, and all the photos I have taken with it have turned out wonderfully. There are many different modes to choose from to capture pictures including: a self portrait mode, night portrait mode, snow mode, kids and pets mode, beach mode, party mode, and more. The timer makes it easier to take pictures of yourself with no one else around, though it is designed for tripod use.
DesignRatingThe camera is sleek and slim. It is light weight, so it is easy to take pictures nearly anywhere you go. It fits nicely in the cloth drawstring bag provided with it, and can fit in your pocket or purse with no problem. Keeping the battery charger on hand may make it a bit more difficult to travel with, but the battery life is decent enough to be able to take a few hundred pictures with no worries. This particular model camera is only available in the dark green color seen in the photograph.
Price to ValueRatingFor $99.00, this camera is an excellent deal. The only additional expense is the SD card, but considering batteries and a charger are not necessary, it's a fair trade. The only thing is, another SANYO camera, model VPC S1275, was positioned next to this camera on the display, for $89.00. The difference: the cheaper camera had the better resolution, at 12 MP, and instead of green, was purple. It doesn't seem worth it to spend $10 more to get less resolution. The only reason I did was because Wal mart was out of the cheaper one, and it's been so long since I've had a functional digital camera I didn't want to wait any longer. A 90 day warranty is available on parts and labor.

We like to cherish these memories with us for a long time, because there is something so special about them that by simply looking at the photos on another day you will be happily nostalgic about some of the best days in your life. To this end, people are looking to buy good cameras that serve their need. But there is another breed which looks at photography as an art, the art of capturing and preserving beauty in the best form possible. These people need a camera which is a class apart, and captures the finest details which the layman may not care too much about. So which camera is perfect for whom?
Camera Comparisons and Reviews
There are certain factors which you need to keep in mind while choosing a digital camera. The importance you give of each of these factors will help you take the decision of which camera to buy. Let me start with the two basic type of cameras. Among digital cameras, we have two basic variants: the point and shoot camera and the Digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera. Simply speaking, if you're no photography freak and just want to shoot some nice times, then what you need is the point and shoot camera. But if you are the photography perfectionist, who always wished that there were better light settings in this world, then the SLR camera is the thing for you. Hence, it is pretty obvious that from the point of view of camera price comparison, the SLR is more expensive. That's why, I am first going to give some factors which determine the purchase decision for a camera and then the reviews of some cameras which could be right for you.
Digital CamerasPixels and Pixel Density: Most people do not know what a pixel is, but understand that the higher the number of pixels, the better is the camera. But it is essential to understand what is a pixel and how many you really need. Most people who are into digital photography, know that a pixel is the smallest part of a picture. Each camera has something which is known as a light sensor. On these sensors there are 'buckets' which count the number of photons that strike the sensor. So more the buckets, more will be the detail in which the picture is captured. Also, the clarity of a picture after digital zoom, depends on the original pixel density of the picture. Higher the pixels in the picture, more clear it stays after digitally zooming or enlarging it. Hence, a high pixel density is essential, if you want to capture the finer details in a picture. If you want to simply capture faces and expressions, you really don't need a high pixel density.
Digital and Optical Zoom: Picking up from the previous point about zoom and pixel relation, a digital zoom is the close up, a camera can take by cropping the actual image. A picture can be digitally zoomed on a camera or on the computer and after a digital zoom there may be a reduction of quality or clarity of the image. An optical zoom of a camera on the other hand is the close up it can take depending on its lens. The lenses of a camera adjust themselves to create an optical zoom and hence is an essential factor in camera lens comparison. An image can be optically zoomed only through the camera, which is clicking the picture and moreover, there is no loss in the quality of the picture. Hence, a camera with better digital zoom is clearly more desirable for clicking finer pictures.
Built in Flash/External Flash: Most cameras come today with a built in flash. A built in flash gives you the option to supply more light when you need to. Sometimes a flash also helps add contrast to a picture and hence is used by many photographers. An external flash on the other hand is a device which can be connected to the camera and does the same job, but the external flash settings can be modified according to the photographer and the requirements for that particular picture. Hence, we can see that an external flash has the upper hand for the professionals.
Price: Based on the above given criteria the price factor can easily be calculated. A camera with a higher number of pixels, higher optical and digital zoom capability and an external flash supplementing it will be higher priced. Like I said before, a DSLR camera is again higher priced than the point and shoot camera as the lenses are substantially better and the camera is designed to take better light resolution pictures.
Apart from these basic ones, there are several other parameters which you can consider like shutter speeds, video camera comparison, aperture range etc. But these are for consideration only by the professional photographers as they shouldn't really matter in the point and shoot cameras. Unlike many SLR cameras, this one comes with a movie mode. The camera can shoot at 24 frames per second and 4.5 photos per second for live action photos. Its shutter speed is 1/4000 seconds while the flash sync takes 1/200 seconds. It has an awesome 11 autofocus points and an ISO of between 100 and 6400.
Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi: This camera too is one of the best digital cameras today. It shows 230,000 pixels on its 3 inch LCD screen and comes with a built in sensor cleaning, live view, dust removal software and an image stabilized kit lens. It can shoot at 3.5 photos per second. The flash sync takes 1/200 seconds, while its ISO is between 100 and 1600. It has 9 autofocus points, mirror lock up and a spot meter.
Remember, if you're not into professional photography or are not looking to get into the field, you really don't need SLR cameras. The point and shoot ones with a good enough resolution (above 5 MP) and a good optical zoom (3 4X) are good enough for you.

Why create a video game?Why should someone invest so much time to create a video game? Because unlike other computer based ways to make money online, this is almost guaranteed to make you rich. Of course you would have to be good at creating games in order to become rich doing this, but there is software out there that makes it extremely easy to make video games. Making games can be done from any computer, and the software is out there for you to obtain easily.
There are different types of video game creating software programs out there for the use of your particular interests. There is rpg games, fps games, action/adventure games, etc. That's just some of the types of software that you can create video games with. This hub will show you the software that you can use and how others have found success using these programs.
FPS CreatorFPS Creator is my personal favorite video game creation software. The product is absolutely beautiful. It has the potential to create extremely profitable video games. There is no difficult coding necessary to create video games using this software, but if you would like to add some extra creations to this program, you can use coding to create extras. But, its made easy because they offer things that make coding easy such as advanced notepad products, and these products are absolutely free to download.
Most of the entities in this product are generic, so you might want to create some things of your own. Its a very graphical software, which appeals to the current day video gaming audience. Its perfect for those who like action games (which would be most gamers).
As you can see in the images located to the right, the games were created using the FPS Creator software. How great those these games look? Wouldn't you like to create a game as beautiful as these and sell it for profit? Well lets view some video clips of gameplay created from FPS Creator.
I personally have never used this project, but I have done extensive research on it because I plan on using it in the near future. The graphics to this creator look absolutely amazing. How To Publish Android Apps to Google Play
The process involving publishing a Android app to the Google Play web store is fairly easy. I prepared this guide as a checklist of steps you need to accomplish the process to allow you to slip through the review process and into the web store as easily as possible.
Task OverviewThe first place to start, if you haven't already done so, is to package your app into a apk file. You need an apk file no matter the platform used to create Android. In this guide I will provide these information to produce an apk from Flash Builder (Eclipse) and the native Android IDE (Eclipse).
During the signing process you will need to sign your apk file. No Android app can be published to the Google Play store unless it is signed. In contrast to Apple iTunes signing policy, you can self sign your Android apps. However you cannot use the debug certificate.
Once this task is complete,you will need to upload the app to the Google Play. This involves a couple a related tasks. If you don't have a developer profile, you will have to create one and also a checkout Merchant account if you plan on selling your app in Google Play. You will then need to create an app profile which will include your apk.
Task 1 : Package an app Android (Eclipse)The first that we will tackle is the apk. This is the archive required by Google Play. This task includes the following sub tasks:
Export project as Android Mobile package
Generating a keystore
Signing the app
Finalizing the apk packaging
Step 1: Generating keystore
Before you can export a signed apk filed (you can export an unsigned apk but you won't be able to upload to the Google Play store), you need to create a keystore certificate.
You can download an Eclipse plugin to generate your keystores directly from Eclipse or you can use the keytool that ships with the Java SDK or JRE. you can either use keytool or jarsigner to sign your apk file.
If you didn't specify a path for the keystore file, the keystore file will be saved to the Java/bin directory, otherwise it will be stored where you specified as in my example
For this example, I will use the Keytool application from the command line in Java. To create a new keystore follow these instructions:
Open the keytool from the command line. If your java_home and path are not set, you will have to navigate to the bin sub folder of your Java SDK or JRE
Compose the command line command using the above mentioned keytool commands. As an example for my rotateMeter Android app, I am using the following command to generate my keystore:You will be prompted to enter and confirm a password
You will also be prompted to enter your full name
You will need to provide an organization unit. This can be an arbitrary but meaningful name. Only the first 8 characters will be used.
You will then need to enter the name of your organization
Next enter your location, city and state or province
Then you will need to enter your 2 character country code
Once the tool has gathered all the needed information, it will display the information on screen for your verification and will prompt you to accept or refuse
Once you accept the input data, you will need to re enter your password and the keytool will create the keystore file for you.

Once you have the keystore, you can begin the process of packaging your app for the Google Play store. To successfully upload your app, you will to package your app as a apk archive. The apk is an archive that is similar to a jar (Java).
The process involving publishing a Android app to the Google Play web store is fairly easy. I prepared this guide as a checklist of steps you need to accomplish the process to allow you to slip through the review process and into the web store as easily as possible.
Task OverviewThe first place to start, if you haven't already done so, is to package your app into a apk file. You need an apk file no matter the platform used to create Android. In this guide I will provide these information to produce an apk from Flash Builder (Eclipse) and the native Android IDE (Eclipse).
During the signing process you will need to sign your apk file. No Android app can be published to the Google Play store unless it is signed. In contrast to Apple iTunes signing policy, you can self sign your Android apps. However you cannot use the debug certificate.
Once this task is complete,you will need to upload the app to the Google Play. This involves a couple a related tasks. If you don't have a developer profile, you will have to create one and also a checkout Merchant account if you plan on selling your app in Google Play. You will then need to create an app profile which will include your apk.
Task 1 : Package an app Android (Eclipse)The first that we will tackle is the apk. This is the archive required by Google Play. This task includes the following sub tasks:
Export project as Android Mobile package
Generating a keystore
Signing the app
Finalizing the apk packaging
Step 1: Generating keystore
Before you can export a signed apk filed (you can export an unsigned apk but you won't be able to upload to the Google Play store), you need to create a keystore certificate.
You can download an Eclipse plugin to generate your keystores directly from Eclipse or you can use the keytool that ships with the Java SDK or JRE. you can either use keytool or jarsigner to sign your apk file.
If you didn't specify a path for the keystore file, the keystore file will be saved to the Java/bin directory, otherwise it will be stored where you specified as in my example
For this example, I will use the Keytool application from the command line in Java. To create a new keystore follow these instructions:
Open the keytool from the command line. If your java_home and path are not set, you will have to navigate to the bin sub folder of your Java SDK or JRE
Compose the command line command using the above mentioned keytool commands. As an example for my rotateMeter Android app, I am using the following command to generate my keystore:You will be prompted to enter and confirm a password
You will also be prompted to enter your full name
You will need to provide an organization unit. This can be an arbitrary but meaningful name. Only the first 8 characters will be used.
You will then need to enter the name of your organization
Next enter your location, city and state or province
Then you will need to enter your 2 character country code
Once the tool has gathered all the needed information, it will display the information on screen for your verification and will prompt you to accept or refuse
Once you accept the input data, you will need to re enter your password and the keytool will create the keystore file for you.

What matters is your professional output, not your real personality traits, which has for long been buried under the games of technologies we play. For instance, emails have wiped our letter writing. There was a warmth of letters which my parents wrote to me, had I known that the scourge of technology like a destructive deluge would wipe out the entire phenomena of letter writing I would have preserved them.
In short, we are a globalized society made possible by technology and many other things. But that personal touch is missing. It's easy to find loads of information and people who create them. It's hard to find the individual.
Yes, technology dominates our lives today. The computer I punch my words in, the sites I post my articles to, the mobile which disturbs me occasionally and the idiot box to which I switch on for my daily dose of news and entertainment and plenty of other such things which now have been taken for granted invariably dominate our lives. Yes, technology has made our lives better, more smooth, efficient and more can be accomplished in a lesser amount of time. It has made official work even better and affected the turnover of companies like never before. And yes, today we cannot do without the multitude of things that technology has made possible. But there is a flip side to it too. We have become more of robots, more mechanical. Today children are engrossed more in video games rather than go out and play in the sun. We have had the good fortune of playing outdoor games which made out bodies strong and robust. Today, virtual simulation games transport children into a world of fantasy providing little vigour to their bodies. So no play means that much less exercise and weaker bodies with little immunities.
